This document authorizes you to include the shareware programs included on
this disk in your catalog, library, or bulletin board, under the following
conditions:
1 - Each directory on this disk contains the files needed for one
program. The files for each program should be placed in the root
directory of one 360K floppy disk for distribution, or archived into
a single file for a bulletin board. Each program should be
distributed individually.
2 - You may NOT remove or alter ANY of the files included with each
program.
3 - You MAY add your own files to your distribution disk so long as these
files do not contradict or conflict with the files already provided.
4 - You MAY sell disks containing copies of each program provided you do
not imply to your customers that the software is free.
5 - If your distribution method is by bulletin board then you may NOT
unarchive the self-extracting files (FLAGSARC.EXE, WFARC.EXE,
WSARC.EXE) before using your own archiving method, since the
installation procedures included with these programs are designed
around these self-extracting files.
6 - If your distribution method is by disk then you should NOT further
archive any of the files for each program.
7 - If you are a non-U.S.A. distributor, then you are NOT authorized to
translate any of the documentation for these programs UNLESS you
clearly indicate that there is NO non-English version of the program
available from WYNDWARE.

This disk contains the most recent updates of 4 shareware programs:
Flags - educational program displaying over 600 world flags
Wyndfields - general purpose flat-file database
Wynd-DOS - disk and file management utility
Wyndshell - hard disk menu system
The files for each program are contained in the following directories on
the disk:
Flags - FLAGS
Wyndfields - WFIELDS
Wynd-DOS - WDOS
Wyndshell - WSHELL
If you currently have copies of any of these programs, these new
updates should be substituted, even if the version number is the
same as the old version you currently have.
Detailed descriptions of each of the programs follow:
FLAGS - version 1991b
Recommended Zip Name: FLAGS91.ZIP
Short Description: Educational - Shows 600 Flags
Description: The flags of the nations of the world are powerful
symbols, representing the history, beliefs, and hopes
of the people of each country. Because of this, flags
become useful tools for understanding and appreciating
the various cultures which make up our world. This
program displays full-color representations of over 600
different flags: flags of every independent nation in
the world, plus hundreds of historical, regional,
naval, and personal flags. The flags may be viewed
individually, or the program may be set to exhibit a
continuous display of all the flags. There is also a
flag quiz to test your knowledge of the various flags.
New Features: The most dramatic new feature in version 1991 is that
Flags now fully supports EGA graphics modes to show
all the flags in their true colors and detail. In
addition, over 350 new flags have been added, and
flags which have changed in the past two years have
been updated.
System Requirements: Flags requires a computer with at least 320K
RAM, operating with PC or MS DOS 3.0 or
greater, and a CGA or EGA monitor. Two floppy

programs available in 1989.
Recommended ZIP Name: WFIELD12.ZIP
Short Description: Full-featured Flat-file Database
Description: Wyndfields is a general purpose database program,
useful for keeping track of any type of structured
information. Data may be added, changed, removed,
found, displayed, analyzed, and printed easily using
the friendly pull-down menu system. Creating and
printing mailing labels or detailed reports can be
accomplished painlessly from within the program.
Multiple indices (ways of ordering your data) are
maintained automatically for you, and several methods
are available for extracting exactly the information
you need from your files. For more advanced users,
Wyndfields also offers extensive string and math
functions for use in searches and calculated fields,
and its date and time tracking abilities are
unsurpassed.
New Features: Version 1.2 now allows you to use Question Marks in Date
Fields if you do not know an exact date. When you modify
the design of a database, Wyndfields will now permit you to
keep the previous Form and Table design. Wyndfields will
no longer save blank records when you are adding records.
One additional change to the shareware version is that the
entire reference manual for the program is now included
on-disk.
System Requirements: Wyndfields requires a computer with at least
512K RAM, operating with PC or MS DOS 3.0 or

recommended. A mouse is optional.

hard disk. It is used to create menu options to run all
the programs contained on your computer. Any number of
menus and submenus may be set up. Since Wyndshell is
not memory-resident, it surrenders all of your
computer's memory to each application. Wyndshell may
also be used on a network, and passwords may be
assigned to any menu options. Included with Wyndshell is
the Wynd-DOS file manager.
Note: Wynd-DOS is also included as a part of Wyndshell, but a stand-
alone version of Wyndshell is also available.
